Q. Why should I hire a professional photographer?

these details Q. When should I schedule my session?

For Baby & Child Portrait sessions, I am typically booked a month in advance.  Need your session done sooner?  Give me a call and I will do the best I can to fit you in. Newborn sessions should be booked early in your pregnancy to ensure a date is available.  I will use your due date as a “hold” and book a solid date and time as soon as you get home from the hospital.  Usually Dad will shoot me an email or text to let me know what date works best!

Q. When should I have Maternity Portraits taken?

Maternity Portraits are best done between 28-34 weeks.  If you’re having multiples it can be between 26-30 weeks.  It’s pretty important that you feel comfortable during your portraits, so if you start feeling “iffy”, sooner is probably better! I currently only offer Maternity Sessions to clients that book a Newborn session with me.

Q. What is the best time for Newborn Sessions?

Newborns need to be photographed during their first 10 days.  This is the time that they are sleeping the most and very easily posed.  I do understand that there are special circumstances where your newborn may not be home during the first 10 days; I can still schedule a time after the 10 day mark!  You can view my newborn work HERE.

Q. What if my  baby/child isn’t feeling well the day of our Session?

Please reschedule!!! I completely understand that this happens and I want what is best for your child.  A sick child makes for an unhappy child and that will come through in your portraits.

Q. How much do you charge?

Baby Sessions are $150; Child Sessions are $200; Newborn Sessions are $250

The Session Fee includes time and talent only.  I do offer Collections at a discounted rate or any product a la carte.  Typically, clients invest between $800-$3000 for custom art for their home.

Q. Are the Digital Negatives included?

All of my Collections include digital negatives!  They are no longer offered a la carte.  I know they are important, but truly, we do not know how digitals will hold up over time.  We do know that all of our art products (albums, canvas, image boxes, prints) will last a lifetime… or longer.

Q. What Products do you offer?

All of my products are archival products that should last you a lifetime+!  I offer beautiful custom albums, gallery wrapped canvases, archival prints, etc.  Looking for something unique?  We probably have it, just give me a shout by clicking HERE.

Q. When do I purchase the portraits?

During your portrait session, I ask you to choose a date for your Viewing & Ordering appointment.  This will allow you to view your images for the first time as well as go over all of the Collections I offer.  I also bring a full line of product with me, so you can see in person what you will be receiving.  You will place your order at this point.

Q. When will my order be ready?

Once your order is paid in full, I will place the order with my professional lab.  Delivery takes about 2-3 weeks and most orders are hand-delivered by me!

Q. Which payment methods do you accept?

I accept Cash, Checks, Visa and MasterCard.

Q. Can we schedule a payment plan?

Absolutely!  We can work together to create a payment plan that is comfortable for you.

Q. How are my products delivered to me?

Most orders are hand-delivered by me!  Some products are very large and expensive to ship.  *I will ship your order at cost to you, if you so choose!
